Every year, Nigerian graduates produce substantial amount of research papers, as part of their academic fulfillment, with topics that are innovative, informative and indigenous to our society. At OpenCon Ife 2017, we will be discussing openness of a digitized final year project, an online resource and research papers that is accessible to all. Open data and open access will create opportunities, appreciate students efforts, and bridge the gap between the academic and private/public sector. This event will bring together students, early career researchers and graduate students, to learn from open data advocates, and organizations to inspire and learn about data. There will be workshop trainings, open discussion, and connecting with others. It is an opportunity to be part of an idea, that is crucial to the students research output. OpenCon Ife 2017, will be taking place July 29th, at Cooperative Hall, Behind Banking Area, Obafemi Awolowo University.
