Florida State University Libraries will be hosting an OpenCon satellite event in Strozier Library on November 13, 2017. OpenCon satellite events are meetings about Open Access, Open Data, and Open Education: the free availability of scholarly articles, data, and educational resources online. Satellite events are held in partnership with the global annual OpenCon meeting, which will be held in Berlin on November 11-13, 2017.
Our event will bring together students, teachers, and researchers who are interested in learning more about efforts to improve equity of access to information in research and education. Video content will be streamed from the global OpenCon meeting, and coffee and snacks will be provided.
Registration is free and all members of the FSU community are invited to attend!
