OpenCon 2017 Calabar is an opportunity to enlighten the next generation on the Open Knowledge trifecta: Open Access, Open Education and Open Data.

At the event we will be discussing ways to create a more open system for sharing the world's information by maximizing the power of the internet. There will be video highlights from OpenCon 2017, keynotes from experts and public figures, workshop training, open discussions and networking.

From the well structured agenda, a maximum of 120 participants; consisting of students, graduates, early career researchers and professionals will build vital skills - To become Open Knowledge advocates, raise institutional awareness and organize local/ national campaigns on Open Knowledge.

OpenCon 2017 Calabar also presents a platform to connect with the OpenCon community, invite friends and recruit change agents.
