Making Open Data Easier: Building Resources for the Broader South African Research Community
South African researchers who have prepared their data to share openly in their respective fields talk about their experiences: what works and what didn't and what changes would they would like to see at their institutions to better facilitate data sharing and data management?
The afternoon workshop session is focused on learning about tools for working with data that are useful to researchers and librarians. Later we discuss and plan future online collaboration to aggregate and expand on relevant research data management resources to share with the South African research community.
Librarians and researchers from other institutions around South Africa will also be participating virtually at this event.
