OpenCon 2016 Buea is a satellite event held in partnership with the global OpenCon 2016 conference taking place in Washington, DC.  This event shall take place in the University of Buea on the 28th of November and will teach all the indigents of Cameroon about Open Data, Open Access and Open Education.

The information shared at the OpenCon 2016 in the USA will be brought to us locally.

We plan to have keynote speakers who are very influential such as;

• The Librarian of the University of Buea
• The Communication Department of the Catholic University Institute of Buea.
• The ICT of Saint Monica University Buea.
• A representative from Mozilla Cameroon.
• A representative from the GDG Cameroon, Buea.

We hope OpenCon 2016 Buea will be an amazing event where all attendees can share knowledge and learn. Do not miss out the opportunity of attending this event!
