Open Data Day Lagos 2018 is a yearly event organized by students and researchers in the University of Lagos in order to discuss the importance of access to research data and Open education practices and catalyze action. The Open Data Day event will bring together students, researchers, advocates and early career professionals to forge a forward path for advancement of education and research in Nigeria through Open Data. This conference is held in partnership with Open knowledge International and University of Lagos Science student association (ULSSA). This year, we would be concentrating more on activities that would help advance Open education practices and OER adoption in our institutions. Various workshops and keynotes will be held on topics ranging from Open Data licensing to OER advocacy.
