The Electrochemical Society is an international nonprofit scientific society that independently publishes the Journal of the Electrochemical Society, the Journal of Solid State Science and Technology, ECS Transactions (meeting proceedings), and Interface (quarterly membership magazine). ECS OpenCon will be held in conjunction with the 232nd ECS Meeting in National Harbor, MD. Our event is completely free to attend but we would greatly appreciate any donations, all the proceeds of which will go toward our campaign for complete open access and open science scholarly communications tools! 

ECS OpenCon will feature vocal advocates in the world of open science and open access. Speakers will examine the intersection of advances in research technology infrastructure, the researcher experience, funder mandates and policies, as well as the global shift that is happening in traditional scholarly communications.
