Scholarly peer review plays a critical role in shaping what knowledge is trusted, shared, and preserved. Yet the process often remains opaque, exclusionary, and concentrated in the hands of a few. At PREreview, we are working to build a more open, equitable, and collaborative approach to research evaluation through community-driven peer review of preprints and other openly shared research outputs.

Join us at the next OpenCon Librarian Community Call on Tuesday, September 8 at 12 p.m. ET / 9 a.m. PT for a session with Daniela Saderi, Co-founder and Executive Director of PREreview. In this session, we'll explore how open review models can expand participation, create new opportunities for learning and dialogue, and strengthen trust in research. We'll also discuss the role librarians can play as educators, connectors, and stewards of open scholarly infrastructure in helping shape a future where knowledge is held in trust by the many, rather than controlled by the few.
