Research Funders is pioneering a community based model of dissemination of scientific research by enabling access to funding and logistics, as well as making openly available scientific discoveries and research of great importance. It is conceived of as an online platform for scientific advancement powered by common public interest.
We're based in Hyderabad City, India. We're a team of scientists, designers, and technologists passionate about helping ideas grow. Our mission is to democratize science.
Who is science for? What can it do for the general public? How do we nurture research that has the kind of impact that can change the world? What is the value of science and scientific research? Perhaps most importantly, why is it so important that everyone should have the chance to be a scientist? Our goal is to answer these questions, by bringing together those interested in them.

The main objective of the project "Open Encyclopedia System (OES)" is to develop a standardized web-based open source platform for building and maintaining scientific online encyclopedias, which will be publicly available, free of charge on the internet and accessible worldwide. Its first use cases will be "1914-1918-online. International Encyclopedia of the First World War" and the CeMoG-Encyclopedia on German-Greek Entanglements. The project consortium is carried out of four partners: Center for Digital Systems (CeDiS), Friedrich-Meinecke-Institut (FMI), Center for Modern Greece (CeMoG) all based at the Freie Universität Berlin, as well as the Bavarian State Library (BSB) in Munich.

OATP uses social tagging to capture new developments on open access to research. The OATP mission is (1) to provide a real-time alert service for OA-related news and comment, and (2) to organize knowledge of the field by tag or subtopic. The project publishes a comprehensive primary feed of new OA developments, and hundreds of smaller secondary feeds on OA subtopics, one for each project tag.
The Open Access Tracking Project (OATP) is a project of the Harvard Open Access Project (HOAP) at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, operating under the supervision of Peter Suber.
