Details
In this month’s OpenCon Librarian call we will explore how to leverage existing infrastructure and legal tools to accelerate open access.
Monica Granados and Rebecca Ross from Creative Commons will present on two initiatives borne from the Open Climate Campaign that take an untraditional approach to opening up closed publications by taking organized, collective action. They will speak about the Paper Pledge for the Planet and Unbinding the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s (IPCC) Sixth Assessment Report and how individuals and institutions can get involved.
OpenCon Librarian Community Calls are limited to those working in libraries, and registration is now required. You can register for the October call here.

What to expect
Community calls are always friendly, and we love new faces. The more you participate, the more you'll get out of it! No doubt there will be a lot of this too.
