We welcome the many newcomers to the call. However, as a community call grounded in providing space for early career librarians, we hope our new and old attendee’s will understand that we will try to prioritize questions and discussions led by early career librarians.
Join us on May 11th to chat with Monica Westin from Google Scholar. Monica will provide an overview of Google Scholar. She will discuss how it indexes content, how to use its abilities to capture & display free-to-read marking, the effects various open access models have on indexing, and how institutional repositories as crucial access points for scholarship. We will save time for Q&A.
You can find all the proposed agendas and minutes from the Librarian community calls in one place, right here.
The community call location has been moved. Please see above.
What to expect
Community calls are always friendly, and we love new faces. The more you participate, the more you'll get out of it! No doubt there will be a lot of this too.
