This call brings together all librarians working with, or learning about, all things Open--and gives folks an opportunity to connect with each other to better their work and librarianship.
Please share the invitation to participate in this call with any librarians on your campus who may be interested.
Call Agenda
This month, in addition to our usual updates and requests for support, we'll be having a discussion about getting involved with committees, service opportunities, and professional societies.
We'll also be hearing from Library Pipeline about the Innovation in Libraries grant application. This grant is looking to make "librarians a catalyst for prototyping library-based innovations (both technical and non-technical in nature) that are inclusive, daring, and diverse". The first round of applications will be accepted starting on 1 March 2017 with a deadline of 15 March 2017. During the next OpenCon Librarian call, we welcome questions about applications, which are due the following day.
You can find all the proposed agendas and detailed minutes from the Librarian community calls in one place, right here.
