Details
Invest in Open Infrastructure (IOI) recently launched Infra Finder, a new, free tool to enable discovery, adoption, and investment for open infrastructure services. Inspired by conversations with the IOI community, the tool provides a resource that will be useful for finding information about open infrastructure services all in one place.
On June 11th at 12pm ET / 9am PT, the next OpenCon Librarian Community Call will feature Lauren Collister and Chrys Wu from IOI who will introduce their organization, give a tour of Infra Finder, and share an overview of their State of Open Infrastructure report, which contains research based on information in Infra Finder. There will be time for call attendees to share their experiences advocating for open infrastructure or open source tools in their libraries and any helpful tips or stumbling blocks that they’ve experienced.
OpenCon Librarian Community Calls are limited to those working in libraries, and registration is now required. You can register for the June call here.
Agenda and Notes
You can find all the proposed agendas and notes from the Librarian community calls in one place, right here.
Recordings
Community Calls are not recorded to support a safer environment for open and honest discussion. However, notes are taken.
What to expect
Community calls are always friendly, and we love new faces. The more you participate, the more you'll get out of it! No doubt there will be a lot of this too.
