OpenCon 2016 Makerere, is a one day satellite event and will feature some of the global leaders in research and a host leading academics in Uganda.  The workshop will provide a place to conceptualize, catalyse, and launch initiatives advancing Open Access, Open Data and Open Education in Uganda and Africa at large.
