  4. December 2020 Librarian Community Call

Will you come?

Details

Join us to learn about the University of Washington's Center for an Informed Public (CIP), a university-wide initiative to study misinformation and translate our research into policy, technology design, curriculum development, and public engagement. The UW was one of 5 universities to receive Knight Foundation funding, and the only one to include public libraries in its central mission. In partnership with the UW’s Technology & Social Change Group (TASCHA), CIP is working on several efforts with libraries to better confront the challenges of misinformation. We are excited to have Chris Coward, Senior Principal Research Scientist, from the Information School University of Washington join us to lead this session.

This call brings together all librarians working with, or learning about, all things Open--and gives folks an opportunity to connect with each other to better their work and librarianship.

Call Agenda

You can find all the proposed agendas and minutes from the Librarian community calls in one place, right here.
