The Rebus Community

Posted by Lorraine Chuen 1110.20SC on February 27, 2017
The Rebus Community is building a new, collaborative model for publishing open textbooks. We hope to build a community-driven, open textbook publishing process, supported by technology where appropriate. Equally important, we are building a global, connected community of people dedicated to increasing access to open education through open textbooks. Our goal is to make it easy for anyone to create or contribute to an open textbook.

What kinds of help are we looking for?

Every project in the Rebus Community has different needs, big and small! From proofreading, finding CC-BY images, or helping with formatting right through to authoring or reviewing a chapter, creating graphics and helping encourage adoptions, every bit helps. Check out our active projects to see how you can help.

Can you be based remotely to help? Yes! Can collaborate from anywhere in the world.

Who do I get in touch with if I want to help out?  If you have questions or are interested in helping out, you can contact Zoe Wake Hyde at [email protected].
