Supporting Open Clinical Research Advocacy with the AllTrials Community

Posted by Lorraine Chuen 1110.20SC on February 21, 2017

The AllTrials Community is a diverse and inclusive group of individuals who care about improving clinical research and medicine. We create and share AllTrials Community Resources including advocacy toolkits, curriculum, presentations, and informational resources. We support each other through the AllTrials Community Forum. We know that advancing better research policies and practices in our communities requires effective communication and strategic advocacy, so we offer free training through the AllTrials Train-the-Trainer Workshop. Participants graduate with the practice, resources, and community of support they need to improve their advocacy skills and to similarly train their peers.

What kinds of help are we looking for?

There are a few different ways you can contribute:

  • Contribute to AllTrials Community Resources: toolkits, curriculum, presentations, and informational resources
  • Join the AllTrials Community Forum: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/alltrialsttt/join
  • Register to join an upcoming AllTrials Train-the-Trainer Workshop: https://goo.gl/forms/LbcAF4Y6gfsA2Nca2. Advancing better research policies and practices in our communities requires effective communication and strategic advocacy. The AllTrials Train-the-Trainer Workshop is an interactive and practical approach to build skills in clinical trial transparency communication. Participants graduate with the practice, resources, and community of support they need to improve their advocacy skills and to similarly train their peers.

Can you be based remotely to help? Yes! Can collaborate from anywhere in the world.

Who do I get in touch with if I want to help out?  If you have questions or are interested in helping out, you can contact April Clyburne-Sherin at [email protected].
