Dance, theatre, storytelling are a few of the methods young people use to express themselves. What if you could find all these techniques in one place? That place is the Recrear Research Lab – an open access repository of fun participatory action research techniques inspired by the coolest youth projects around the world. The Research Lab is in place for organizations and practitioners to use as well as contribute to with their own techniques.

What kinds of help are we looking for?
Our platform is still in its initial phases so we're looking for editors that can help edit the techniques, facilitators who might want to submit their own and social media gurus that can help get the word out about the lab to practitioners and organizations. We also want to develop the platform in Spanish, but we're missing english-to-spanish translators and editors. That way we can also support a network of practitioners in Latin America that we are already working with. Of course we are also open to your ideas on how to improve the platform!
We are looking for people with skills in:
- Communications / Media Relations
- Community / Grassroots Organizing
- Event Logistics
- Research about Open Access, Open Data, or Open Education
Can you be based remotely to help? Yes! Can collaborate from anywhere in the world.
Who do I get in touch with if I want to help out? If you have questions or are interested in helping out, you can contact Kirsten Williams at [email protected]
