Finding photos
Our primary repository of photos is Flickr, where all images are licensed CC-BY.
Other photo's can be found on Twitter with #OpenCon (and with our old hashtag #OpenCon2014) and on Facebook by searching #OpenCon or our legacy hashtag #OpenCon2014.
Share your photos with us
We use photo's of OpenCon (including from satellites and the broader community) around the world to advertise OpenCon, make graphics, in blog posts and more. If you have photo's of:
- attending an OpenCon event,
- attending/or hosting an OpenCon Satellite event,
- OpenCon community members at policy, educational or community meetings,
we would love to see them, and share them! Here is you can get them to us.
On Flickr (preferred)
Upload your images to Flickr (remember to use a CC licence), and share them with this group - flickr.com/groups/opencon.
If you can't upload an image to Flickr, there are other ways to effectively share images with us. Please note, that if you share photos with us in any of the below ways we will assume you want your work to be shared with a CC-BY licence and uploaded to Flickr unless you say otherwise.
On Dropbox and Google Drive
Share folders containing images (preferably with proper metadata such as a Name and Description) with [email protected]. Periodically we'll download the photos and upload them to Flickr.
