The OOO Canada network supports and leads students and young researchers affiliated with Canadian institutions in their efforts to promote open, transparent approaches to knowledge sharing. Our goal is to coordinate initiatives happening across provinces.

What kinds of help are we looking for?
We are currently seeking 1 to 3 students from each Canadian university to join our network as campus representatives. Campus representatives will be responsible for:
- Meeting with members of the core committee monthly via Google Hangouts
- Leading on-campus initiatives that promote open access, open data, and/or open education
- Liaising between your institutional librarians and the OOO Canada Research Network
Campus representatives will also have the option of helping create website content and writing blogposts. You would eventually have the opportunity to take a greater leadership role on the core committee of the OOO Canada Research Network.
We are looking for enthusiastic people who care deeply about fair access to information and want to take on a leadership position in their community. Representatives should be willing to commit to at least one year in their position.
Can you be based remotely to help? Because of the nature of our work, you need to be affiliated with a Canadian institution.
