OpenCon community calls give a chance for you to learn what's happening in open research and education around the world, share what you're doing and find collaborators and opportunities. 

Call Agenda

During this month's call, we'll be talking about building a culture of Open at our institution. We'll be hearing from members of the OpenCon community and the work that they've been doing to advance Open Access, Open Data, and/or Open Education in their institutions and regional communities.

After hearing from speakers, we will use the second half of the call to talk about OpenCon more broadly – the global conference and the application process, satellite events, and growing the OpenCon community.  Applications to OpenCon 2017 in Berlin open on June 27 (the day before), so this is a great opportunity to learn more about what the application process looks like! There will be members of the OpenCon organizing team on the call to answer any questions you may have.

To join the conference call from your computer, go to https://www.uberconference.com/SPARCconference.

What to expect

Community calls are always friendly, and we love new faces. The more you participate, the more you'll get out of it! No doubt there will be a lot of this too.
