Join us to learn about the Journal Comparison Service supported by cOAlition S. The tool intends to provide “a secure, free-of-charge service that enables libraries, library consortia, and funders to better understand if the fees they pay are commensurate with the publication services delivered.” An overview of the service and platform will be provided with a discussion to follow. This is particularly fitting for this year’s International Open Access Week theme “Community over Commercialization.” How can having access to price/cost data help us build stronger communities and invest less in the commercial sector? What’s a sustainable support model for journals?
