OpenCon community calls give a chance for you to learn what's happening in open research and education around the world, share what you're doing and find collaborators and opportunities.

During this month's call, we'll be doing our usual updates and requests for help — but we'll also talking about Open Access Week — taking place this October 23-29, 2017. The theme for this year is "Open in Order To..." exploring the concrete benefits that be realized by making scholarly outputs openly available. To join the conference call from your computer, go to https://www.uberconference.com/SPARCconference.

Community calls are always friendly, and we love new faces. The more you participate, the more you'll get out of it! No doubt there will be a lot of this too.
