A lot of discussion and work has been done to determine how we measure and reward the impact of research publications, but what about software?

We’ve invited Heather Piwowar and Jason Priem, co-founders of ImpactStory, to discuss the role of code and software in research evaluations. During the webcast, Heather and Jason will share their motivation for developing Depsy, a new tool to measure and reward software impact, and how code and software contributions to research can be rewarded.
